#Shoplocal at the Hertfordshire County Show on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May – A Showcase of Hertfordshire’s finest food, shopping, farming and entertainment!
Your 2020 County Show is on track to have more local artisan crafters and producers on site than ever offered before. Running for over 10 years, the Shows Hertfordshire shopping experience has grown to include three ‘Made In Hertfordshire’ marquees and the new ‘Etsy Hertfordshire’ marquee. That’s over 100 local traders ready to share their workmanship with you; you’ll find everything from chutneys, sauces, cheese and meats, through to premium spirits, through to handbags, clothing, homeware, photography and paintings.
Not only can you #shoplocal, you can #eatlocal too! Since it’s 2018 expansion, the ‘Eat and Drink Hertfordshire’ theme has expanded to all three food courts – you can stick with traditional burgers and hotdogs, or try vegan Indian, Greek salad, stone baked pizza and so much more. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, all ice cream vendors will now be offering a Hertfordshire ice cream option.
If you need something cold to wash it down with, Show regulars Farr Brew and McMullen will once again be back, pouring locally brewed beers, as well as your other favourite tipples. Farr Brew have been able to ‘grow with the show’, starting off in ‘Made In Hertfordshire’, before opening up their festival style bar on Main Drive. Hertford brewers McMullen have been long term supporters of the Show and you’ll be able to see their Heavy Horses in the Jubilee Arena.
