It’s been a little while since we’ve shared an update, and what a whirlwind summer it’s been!
We’ve had a fantastic few months, including a wonderful staff picnic cooked by none other than Theatre Kitchen star Patti Sloley. It was a great way to celebrate the season and recharge before planning begins for the 2026 Hertfordshire County Show.
Schools Day 2025 – A Huge Success!
Our Schools Day in July was a real highlight, welcoming Year 6 students from across Hertfordshire to learn all about where their food comes from. The day was made even more special with a visit from The Duchess of Edinburgh, who took the time to meet the children and see their activities. It was a fantastic opportunity to educate and inspire the next generation about farming, food, and the countryside.
Your Feedback Matters
A big thank you to everyone who completed our visitor feedback survey. We’ve listened carefully and your thoughts have inspired some exciting changes. One of the main themes was around shopping and layout, and we’ve been working closely with our team to design new specialised shopping areas for next year’s show. We can’t wait for you to see what’s in store!
Your feedback is vital to us — it helps the Show grow and evolve, ensuring it remains a highlight in the Hertfordshire calendar.
Entertainment Plans Are Underway
We’ve already started booking acts for our three entertainment rings. While we can’t reveal all the details just yet, we can promise there’ll be something for everyone at the 2026 Show!
What’s New in the Office
This month, we said a fond farewell to our colleague Pratik, our Trade Manager, who has moved on to new adventures. We’ll miss him and wish him all the very best for the future.
We’re also delighted to welcome Lianne, who joins us as our new Trade Manager. Lianne brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, and we’re looking forward to introducing her to our wonderful community of exhibitors and traders.
We’re already buzzing with ideas and can’t wait to share more exciting updates in the months ahead.
